Use Skills
A Skill teaches an agent how to handle a kind of task. It can describe the steps to follow, required tools or accounts, and actions that need confirmation.
Use external MCP services
Dynamic MCP lets AgentDock use tools from other MCP services without restarting AgentDock. Use it when you need capabilities that are provided by another service or a local MCP program.
Use Plugins
A Plugin packages related AgentDock extensions so they can be reviewed and managed together. A Plugin can include Skills, MCP server configurations, or both. Those components still use AgentDock's existing Skill and dynamic MCP systems; a Plugin does not create a separate execution layer.
Use the browser
With browser capabilities enabled, the agent can navigate pages, click, type, scroll, capture screenshots, and check page console, network, and page errors.
Use local Coding Agents
AgentDock can hand coding work from ChatGPT or another MCP client to a local Coding Agent running on the same computer as your project. This can be Codex, Claude, Grok Build, or a custom coding tool.
Tasks and progress
For development, deployment, migration, or complex troubleshooting, AgentDock can persist the goal, steps, completion conditions, and verification evidence as a recoverable task.
